Sin            

 

Act or thought

1.    The violation of, or want of obedience to the revealed will of God.[i]

2.     Whatsoever is not of faith.[ii]

3.     Lawlessness.[iii]

4.     Originated with Satan.[iv]

5.     Entered the world through Adam.[v]

6.     Was and is universal, Christ alone excepted.[vi]

7.     Incurs the penalty of spiritual and physical death.[vii]

8.     Has no remedy but in the sacrificial death of Christ. Availed of by faith.[viii]
