Salvation includes a great deal more than pardon, precious
as it is. Salvation takes in the whole scope and result of Christ’s work; and
whether you look at salvation in its complete sense and heavenly light, as
shown us in Ephesians, or add to the work of Christ His priesthood and coming
again in glory, either goes far beyond forgiveness of sins, and both are
certain and scriptural.[i]
