Old Corn
of the Land
1. He (Christ) is the old corn of the land, for He is of the
heavenly country. He is also the food that suits us. The Christian is heavenly,
and ought to occupy and nourish Himself on Him who is there as the Lamb.[i]
2. The manna is for the wilderness, but the old corn of the
land is for Canaan.[ii]
